HBO presents The penguin. AGAIN!!! In the second episode we get nothing. IT'S JUST TREADING WATER!!!
An expansion of Matt Reeve's Batman universe, but it's not part of James Gunn's DCU or the DCEU, also known as The Snyderverse. No this is it's own, very mature, grounded and serious show about the criminal underworld of Gotham city, but it avoids mentioning even the slightest connection to anything realted to the Batman, Joker or any other silly comic book things. No, this is a serious show about a violent but loveable gangster, with mommy issues and his inner demons that get in the way of his job. Are you sure this isn't just Season 7 of The sopranos? Either way, Colin Farrell Is brilliant as Oswald Cobblepot and that might just be enough for me to keep watching this show.

Like all good Sci-fi it mirrors our own society. If you enjoy the thematic aspects of Star trek you will really appreciate the positive vision Coppola has for the future of humanity in Megalopolis.
